I adore makeup palettes, anything that makes my makeup quicker and easier just lately is a must have for me and this one will be perfect for when baby arrives. The thing is, I'm more likely to use a palette than multiple individual products as they're all in one place and are easily accessible which is perfect for everyday makeup and those times when i don't have the time to experiment.

Every now and again, when I want a treat, cake is the only thing that will cut it! On Wednesday I was in a productive mood, I cleaned right through the house, went to visit family, cooked a nice meal and the cupcake 'need' appeared, so whilst I had the energy, I decided to bake some cupcakes. I posted a picture on Instagram as soon as they were ready and I got some great feedback on them so I thought, why not share the recipe?! Let's face it, when you see something that someone's made and you fancy it too, you usually want to know the recipe, or maybe that's just me... This was actually a recipe I found on GoodFood posted by one of their lovely members and boy, did she do good with this recipe!

My First Trimester...

So I'm sure your all aware by now that me and Dan are having our first baby! If you didn't know, SURPRISE!!! In my last post, I asked if you'd like to see some baby related posts and quite a few of you said yes, so I thought it would be fun to include a few posts here and there. Now I haven't written these types of posts before, obviously, so I'm not sure how I'll do but I'm going to give it a go anyway as it will be nice for us to look back on in the future.

Budget Beauty | Makeup Gallery...

With big commitments and changes this year, we have a lot more money going out and a lot less coming in, meaning those expensive beauty products I have become oh so familiar with in the past few years are about to become a thing of the past, or limited to luxury at least. With this in mind, I decided to take a look at some budget beauty, after all, beauty guru Sally Hughes once said 'A good quality brush will make cheap eye shadow go on like silk and allow Superdrug blusher to pass for Dior.' Now I may have gone to the complete extreme end of 'budget beauty' but I wanted to see whether I really do need to spend the prices I do on makeup for it to actually look good or whether some budget brands may have their own hidden gems.
